Version 2.0 introduces a transition from direct calls to the Google Cloud Vision API to a bridged API, enhancing flexibility and security in image processing workflows.

Version 1.9 features an upgrade to the Swift programming language, improving overall performance and stability of the application.

Version 1.8 enables users to extract text from photos taken via albums or camera. The app now allows attaching furigana (reading aids) to the extracted text, and sharing these annotated images with others.

Version 1.7 simplifies the process by allowing users to capture photos of books with their camera. The app then automatically extracts the text and adds furigana annotations.

Version 1.6 introduces a vocabulary review feature by enabling users to register words into a dedicated word list, facilitating efficient study and revision.

Version 1.1 adds a new handwritten input function, allowing users to write Chinese characters (Kanji) by hand and view their furigana readings. This includes inputting Kanji manually through handwriting, with immediate phonetic annotations displayed alongside.

Version 1.0 is designed to assist users who may not be proficient in reading Japanese. It enables adding furigana to articles displayed within Safari, thereby aiding comprehension for non-native speakers or learners.
